Anyway, I digress! I do absolutely love, love, love material shopping. After all, it always fits :) I pop along to my chosen fabric shop (without the 3 littlies if I'm lucky) and can get totally absorbed for an obscene amount of time in all the lovely fabrics and colours, pulling this one and that one off the shelves to see what goes and what doesn't.
I have to limit myself to 10 (alright 20) materials at a time and have often smuggled them in so I don't have to see hubby's eyebrows raise again "How much this time then?" I only get 10cm at a time though as my leaves don't take up that much space and then it means I can keep going back and buying more. Of course I have to alter the shops I go to as it's amazing how often I arrive at the cutting table, load all my bolts of material onto the counter, to find out that the staff member is just due on their tea break!
Anyway, I had a purple theme today and can't wait to see how these look made up into one of my creations.
